The short version
This page covers the onbrand.online website and the free tools on it. Use them on sites you're allowed to test, don't try to break them, and understand that a free automated scan is a helpful signal — not a legal compliance certificate. Paid client work runs on its own signed agreement, which always wins over this page.
Who you're dealing with
This site is operated by Onbrand Online LLC ("ONBRAND", "we", "us"). By using onbrand.online you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
The free tools
The accessibility scanner, AI visibility scanner, SEO & shareability scanner, significance calculator and subscription LTV calculator are provided free, as-is, for your own use. When you use them:
- Scan only what you're authorized to scan. Submitting a URL is you telling us you own that site or have permission to test it. Scans are requested from our infrastructure against the address you provide.
- Don't abuse the capacity. No automated hammering, scraping our endpoints, circumventing rate limits or daily quotas, or reselling access to the tools as your own service.
- Results are informational. Automated checks catch a meaningful slice of real problems, not all of them. A clean scan is not a guarantee of WCAG, SEO, or any other conformance, and a poor score is not a legal finding.
- Availability isn't promised. Free tools may be rate-limited, changed, or taken offline without notice.
Accessibility results are a starting point, not a certification
We build to WCAG 2.2 AA and we take it seriously — but no automated scanner, ours included, can determine legal compliance. Real conformance needs human judgment and manual testing alongside the automated pass. Don't rely on a scan result alone as evidence of compliance, and don't present one as such to a third party.
Client work and the accessibility guarantee
Agency engagements — development, CRO, audits, remediation — are governed by the separate written agreement, proposal, or statement of work signed with that client. Where that agreement and this page disagree, the signed agreement controls. Commitments described on this site, including the accessibility guarantee, are service commitments defined by their own stated scope; they aren't a warranty, a legal certification, or insurance.
Our Shopify apps
The ONBRAND app modules and our privately installed apps have their own terms, presented in each app's listing and settings, and they govern your use of those apps. This page covers the website.
Your data
What we collect and why is described in the Privacy Policy, plus the QR Privacy Policy for people scanning QR codes. If you hand us an email address to receive a report, you're asking us to send you that report and at most one human follow-up.
Our content
The site's text, design, code, and branding belong to Onbrand Online LLC. Reports and scan output we generate for you are yours to use however you like — internally, with your team, or with your own clients. Please don't copy the site itself or pass our tooling off as your own product.
Acceptable use
Don't use this site to break the law, attack anyone's infrastructure, submit URLs you have no right to test, probe our systems for vulnerabilities without asking first, or interfere with anyone else's use of the tools. Found a security issue? Email josh@onbrand.online — we'd genuinely like to hear about it.
Warranties and liability
The website and the free tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, Onbrand Online LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of this site or the free tools. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited. Paid engagements carry whatever liability terms their signed agreement sets.
Third parties
This site links to and depends on services we don't control — Cloudflare for hosting, scanning infrastructure, bot protection and email; Shopify; and any site you choose to scan. Their terms apply to their services, and we're not responsible for third-party content or availability.
Changes
We may update these terms; when we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version. Material changes won't be sneaky.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts located in New York.
